AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The plot features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret sect.
The adventure concentrates on "bizarre trials and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Bonus Material
Players who finish the adventure will receive an unique katana alongside multiple items concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
- Titan-themed outfit for Yasuke

This patch also adds the game's newest complimentary story content, titled "The Enigma."
